We investigate poor man’s Majorana modes in a superconducting double-island system. By tuning the gate voltages and the relative Zeeman-field angle, we search for parameter regimes where an even and an odd state become nearly degenerate and display strong Majorana-like character. Using ED and DMRG simulations, we analyse the low-energy spectrum, parity structure, and Majorana polarization to identify clean even/odd degeneracies separated from higher excited states. The results highlight how careful parameter tuning can reveal Majorana-like behavior in a small, controllable superconducting system.
