Abstract: We study the discovery and exclusion prospects at the HL-LHC for a vectorlike quark χ produced via the decay of an ultraheavy scalar diquark Suu through the channel Suu → uχ. The vectorlike quark is assumed to decay through χ → Wb, Zt, or ht, with all subsequent Standard Model decays treated hadronically. These processes lead to multijet final states with distinct jet multiplicities and kinematic structures. Using the same simplified framework previously applied to the Suu → χχ topology, we consider diquark masses in the multi-TeV range and vectorlike quark masses of order a few TeV. Proton–proton collisions are simulated at sqrt{s}=13.6 TeV for luminosities corresponding to the HL-LHC program. The analysis employs machine-learning techniques adapted specifically to the uχ topology in order to optimize signal–background separation and derive projected discovery reaches and exclusion limits. We find that the uχ channel extends the sensitivity to vectorlike quark production in fully hadronic final states, while providing complementary coverage of the broader Suu parameter space.
